Coastal Resource Library launches Interlibrary Loan

The Coastal Resource Library at Wells Reserve takes another leap forward as it joins the the statewide Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Van Delivery Service. The service went into effect on December 12.
Once a week, a courier will visit the Reserve to pick up and deliver library books and materials. The Coastal Resource Library has many hard-to-find items that will undoubtedly be in demand. Likewise, our library’s customers have diverse and specific needs that will be met effectively through Interlibrary Loan.
Scores of public, college/university, school, and special libraries in Maine participate in the ILL service, which is coordinated by the Maine State Library.
